A Puzzle

The cocooned feelings I had for you

Outflowed the day you talked for the first time

The void in me extinguished by your grace

Still yearns for much more…

Two astray pieces of the same puzzle we were

Hardly fitting and imperfect

It’s been years now and time flies

Shaping each other to fit, to be realized…

Whispers breezing through the clouds

Dark depths of pupils awaken

Caressing the sparkles, lit abysses

The effort is undone, not half-done…

Two perfectly fitting pieces of the puzzle

And there is never the effort forced

The someone I carry with love

Forever and evermore…
