The sound of the rolling waves
The familiar smell of the ocean
The faint sound of screams and laughter
The impatience for the sunset
The echo of music
The excitement of a late-night ride
The warmth of an embrace
The conversations which make no sense
The bittersweet toast
The courage to hold back tears
The pain of impending goodbyes….

All these, the memories of a lifetime
When nothing else mattered
And time was at a standstill.
