Depends on what
The love we gain,
Struggles to get the love
We think we deserve in vain
A lifetime spent without embrace,
Longing for love, but finding no track
I sought a love I’d never known,
But found a pain I’d call my own
Two souls so different, yet the same,
Both ignite a passionate flame.
Each one shines and claims my heart,
How do I choose when both impart?
I’ve endured too much in my life
Faced the world alone, and survived the strife
Now love surrounds me, yet I’m unsure,
Why does God make this a test to endure?
