children playing – having fun”

It is almost time to end 2022 and begin 2023. What are your plans for the holiday season? Do you already have a sweet tooth? Or testing out several Christmas snap filter options? Or do you want to try to celebrate this holiday season meaningfully?

Christmas is a sign of joy and is celebrated every year on December 25th. Jesus Christ’s birth is commemorated by it. To honor the Lord, the event is held with great admiration and respect. People all throughout the world celebrate Christmas with much joy and enthusiasm to spread the actual meaning of it. Christmas trees are used to decorate homes, and parties are conducted as part of celebrations. All ovens are busy with preparing Christmas pudding, Christmas cake and cookies. Children are also very busy sending letters to Santa clause, requesting gifts and impatiently waiting to get them. Families and friends gather to exchange gifts, sing Christmas carols. Churches hold special prayers and services throughout this season.

Christmas serves as a reminder of humanity, goodness, and wisdom. In essence, it offers a chance to improve our lives by helping others and doing good deeds for the world. It also serves as a reminder of the importance of caring for our loved ones and of sharing and giving. This festival emphasizes optimism and avoiding harmful life habits. Not merely Christians, however this celebration is now observed on a global scale by people of all faiths and cultures, and it has come to represent harmony in contrast.

Christmas lately has become about “what can someone get me?” instead of “what can I gift my loved one”. We must remember that not everyone can afford new clothes and a million gifts this holiday season, especially in these pandemic times.

We may all contribute in some small way to the poor and needy at Christmas by giving money, giving time to one another, giving children what they want, serving food and sweets, giving extra things, and much more.

People need to be taught to share and fulfill the needs of those who are less fortunate rather than stockpiling everything. The true meaning of Christmas will eventually be revealed through tiny, varied acts, and this holiday season will see the celebration of a “White Christmas” in which all of humankind will take part cheerfully and peacefully.
