Purple Pavements

Share

The purple sky had a weird dose
The lamp-lit streets made me froze
An iron gate closed, no one close
Felt the numb veins head to toes

Crows chirped in the lonely park
Peeped to the moving wheels in the dark
None showed! Where is that ark?
Didn’t had a flare to show my mark

It kept on ringing till the beeping sound
Every second felt a year-long around
Finally! That sound heated the ground
Purple thunder made a loud mute sound

The short-run was wet and cold
Felt that voice was birthed old
At last! That navy blue figure bold
The happiest moment so far was told
