Oh! To be a lighthouse;

Standing still,

Weathering the storm

Battling the solitude,

But there’s no one to inform

And yet,

When ships cry at night

She brushes everything aside,

And shines her light

Be a lighthouse,

In this vicious storm of life

Guide those wretched vessels,

And be one of the elite

You may be in a battle,

With your own inner demons, you fight

But brush everything aside,

And shine your lustrous light

Oh! To be a lighthouse!

Guiding others to safety

Though your own existence,

Is in jeopardy…
