All three forces together they were

Fighting for peace of our Lanka

Army, Navy along with Air force

Did their best and became heroes

Not caring about their ranks

All the brave soldiers

Worked with unity and harmony

This is their greatest strength indeed

Most of them sacrificed their lives

Some disabled, blind and deaf

But they never went back

Forever they will remain in our hearts

They never gave up always fought

Till they shined in victory

All of them no doubt indeed

Are the marshals of the battlefield

Dedicated to all the brave soldiers and their families who went through trauma while their loved ones were at war…
