I woke up to a strange world,

Where the darkest night shines bright –

A place with no misery,

A world with no chaos,

A place like heaven

That no one will ever know

I looked around me,

And suddenly felt all alone –

A little girl with a bright smile

Like a flower about to bloom

Looked at me and said, –

“They’ll be here too… soon”

She held my hand

And we walked along,

Deeper into the light –

Where the air was so warm

And I finally realized,

This is where now I belong….
